Show Stealers

I watched the season premier of Two and a Half Men out of some perverse need to see how exactly they would work out Ashton replacing Charlie . . . Rose killed Charlie (okay technically he "fell" in front of an oncoming metro train) after they ran off to Paris together and Charlie resumed his womanizing ways; fast forward to a quasi-suicidal Ashton purchases Charlie's house, Alan et al, after a night of Charlie-esque debaucherous fun.  At least they didn't pull the whole "Darrin Switchero" from Bewitched . . .

All of the above is really moot because Jenna Elfman and Thomas Gibson, reprising their roles of Dharma and Greg, stole the show with this scene:

Bravo, Mr. Lorre on bringing back Dharma & Greg even if for just a brief moment in time; they were seriously the best part of the whole episode.

There's a Ghost in My Pie

Okay, so it's not so much a pie as it is strawberries and whip cream in a cute little bowl.  But saying there's a a ghost in my bowl of strawberries doesn't have the same ring.  Trust me, I took a poll.

Yesterday was my birthday (just in case the candle wasn't enough of a hint . . . though I guess it could be some eccentricity of mine that I demand birthday candles on everything I eat) and we went out for breakfast/lunch.  A new discovery has been made within close proximity to my office - The Original Pancake House  - or as it should be known, Mecca for Breakfast.

Anywho - our waitress found out it was my birthday and since they're a pancake house there was no cake, but yummy strawberries with whip cream . . . and a ghost.

Maybe it's a solar flare?  An odd flame/camera reaction?

Nope.

I like to think I had a little extra company while enjoying my breakfast/lunch and dessert.  After all, Halloween is just around the corner . . .
